A week before her birthday her Mum serves her an ultimatum - she needs to move out of the shed, get a haircut that doesn't put her gender in question and stop dressing like a homeless teenager. Naturally, Anna tells her Mum to "back the f-off". However, when her school friend comes to visit, Anna's self-imposed isolation becomes impossible to maintain. Soon she is entangled with a troubled eight year old boy obsessed with Westerns, and the local estate agent whose awkward interpersonal skills continually undermine his attempts to seduce her.

回复 曾宛臻 :少年时代美国导演理查德•林克莱特（Richard Linklater）用了12年时光拍成的电影《少年时代》（《Boyhood》），时长2小时45分，故事讲述了一个挺悲伤的成长故事。梅森很小的时候父母离异，母亲带着一双儿女辗转奔波，一边求学一边工作，艰辛可想而知。母亲先后遭遇了几任丈夫，都以离婚收场，梅森从小就四处搬家、转学，领教了各色混混、醉鬼、暴力狂，林克莱特没有正面深究这些人生的不幸，只是在小梅森的性格塑造上体现出来，长大后慢慢定型的梅森有一股阴郁气质，这些都与他的家庭生活和成长经历密不可分。林克莱特的好拍档伊桑•霍克这次扮演了电影里父亲的角色，这个角色也更像是梅森的精神导师，给电影带来了一些欢乐。语速惊人的伊桑给《少年时代》带来了林克莱特另一个电影标配——话唠。父亲坚持每两周接孩子们一起过周末，不论母亲和孩子们搬家到哪里，电影里父亲是孩子们万能导师，鼓励的话语、政治教育（批判伊战、帮奥巴马拉票）、性教育、如何走出分手阴影、音乐探讨等等，这样就构成了父与子的联系与传承。有一场戏印象很深，十六岁生日的梅森因为父亲忘了三年级时答应给他的GTO古董车礼物，反而将它卖了，生闷气。结果父亲拿出礼物，叫梅森拆开，是一张父亲自己录的关于甲壳虫的CD，梅森立马喜笑颜开了......
